A sewn mounted American flag is the step up from a printed stick flag. The stars are embroidered and the stripes are sewn, so the flag has the depth and texture of a full-size sewn flag at a handheld scale. The polycotton flag is mounted on a natural wood staff with a gold spear tip, in 8 IN x 12 IN, 12 IN x 18 IN, and 24 IN x 36 IN. Made in the USA.

The Continental Congress adopted the Stars and Stripes on June 14, 1777, with 13 stripes for the original colonies and 13 stars for a new constellation. As states joined the Union the star count grew, and the 50-star pattern in use today was set on July 4, 1960 after Hawaii became a state. For a day or a weekend, yes. Polycotton is not made for long outdoor exposure; for a flag that stays out, choose nylon.
