This casket flag display case holds a 5 FT x 9.5 FT interment flag, the flag presented to the family at a veteran’s funeral, folded into its triangle. The case is hand-made from solid wood with a walnut stain, the front is clear plexiglass, and wall-mounting hardware is included. It is the case most families choose for the flag that came home from a service.

The 5 FT x 9.5 FT flag is larger than the 3 FT x 5 FT flags most cases are built for, and a burial flag forced into a small case loses its fold. This case is cut to the burial flag’s triangle so the flag sits flat with the stars showing. Will my father’s burial flag fit?

Yes, if it is the standard 5 FT x 9.5 FT interment flag issued at a military funeral. If the flag is 3 FT x 5 FT, use the Capitol Flag Case instead.

Do you fold the flag for the case?

If you bring the flag to us, yes. Handle a burial flag as little as possible; if it is already folded, it should fit as it is.

Plexiglass or glass?

Plexiglass is lighter and will not shatter if the case is knocked from the wall. It is the standard front for burial flag cases.

Does it include a flag?

Can it stand on a mantel?

The base is flat and it will stand on a deep mantel or shelf. The included hardware is for wall mounting.
