The U.S. Navy Retired – Pole Hem Fringe Flag is dye-printed on 200 denier nylon in the USA, so every line of the Navy’s official design reproduces exactly, and it is lock stitched on the seams and header.

The pole hem slides over an indoor or parade pole, and the gold rayon fringe is the traditional ceremonial finish. For an outdoor flagpole, see the grommets version. Choose from 3×4 FT.

Is this flag for indoor or outdoor use?

Indoor and ceremonial. The lined pole hem slides over an indoor or parade pole and the rayon fringe is a ceremonial finish; it is not made to fly outdoors, where weather wears the fringe quickly.

How is this flag displayed with the American flag?

The American flag takes the position of honor. On separate poles of the same height it flies on its own right, which is the viewer’s left; on one halyard it flies at the peak with the U.S. Navy Retired flag below it.
