Product Description
The Signature presentation American flag is the finest indoor American flag we make. It is sewn from UV-resistant 200 denier nylon with ColorFast dyes, its 50 embroidered stars are 25 percent larger than standard and stitched in polished white thread, its 13 stripes are hand-sewn with four rows of double-needle lock stitching, and it is finished with a lined pole hem, Velcro or leather tabs, and a 2.5 IN golden yellow rayon fringe. Made in the USA, in 3 FT x 5 FT and 4 FT x 6 FT.
This is the flag for the room where the flag is looked at: the courtroom, the council chamber, the boardroom, the chapel. The larger stars and the hand-sewn stripes are visible from across the room and in photographs. For a standard indoor flag, see our nylon American flag with fringe; for a pole and stand worthy of this one, see the Admiral Stand with Eagle.

Historical Background
The Stars and Stripes were adopted on June 14, 1777, and the 50-star field has flown since 1960. Fringe on an indoor flag is a custom rather than a rule; the Flag Code does not address it, and the military has used fringed colors indoors and on parade since the nineteenth century. A presentation American flag is the version made for that setting: heavier construction, larger stars, and a fringe, meant to be seen up close for years.
The Signature grade adds larger stars and hand-sewn stripes to the standard indoor flag, the details that separate a presentation flag from an everyday one.
Symbolism at a Glance
- Thirteen stripes: the original colonies.
- Fifty stars: the states of the Union.
- Gold fringe: ceremony and honor.
