Weighted if you want to unbox it and use it. Empty if you are buying several and want to save on shipping, or if you want to add more than 10 lb. of sand for a taller pole.

How much sand does the empty stand hold?

Enough to bring it well above the 8 lb. we recommend for an 8 FT pole. Fill it through the socket, then set the insert.

Will it hold a 9 FT pole with a 4 FT x 6 FT flag?

The 10 lb. weighted version is best for an 8 FT pole. For a 9 FT pole, fill the empty version fuller or use a heavier stand.

Is it available in chrome?

How do I care for the gilt finish?
